The heat exchanger that is designed to transfer thermal energy from one medium to other for purpose of cooling is known as a radiator. As the engine of a car is exerted more than other parts, it tends to overheat and requires a cooling system to help it operate at the ideal temperatures. Radiators are designed to keep the operating temperature of the engine of a car at a safe level by transferring the heat from the fluid inside the car to the air outside. The channels running through the engine and cylinder head are connected to radiator that pumps a liquid and disperses the excess heat. A long lasting engine needs a radiator operating in optimum condition. That is the reason why high-end luxury cars from the stable of Nissan Infiniti have specially designed Infiniti radiators to ensure the finest performance from the vehicles.

Infiniti is the luxury car from Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. Launched in later part of 1989; presently its dealer network spans over 15 countries. Infiniti G35x is a sedan that has all wheel movement with an engine of the capacity of 3.5L. Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV) of Infiniti is designated by two letters. So QX56 is a SUV that features a 5.6 L engine. Highly sophisticated Infiniti radiators form an integral part of an Infinity sedan or SUV that ensures optimum temperature of the engine that is imperative for smooth and long run of the engine.

Infiniti radiators are engineered to keep off the heat generated by engine to other parts of the car. This protects the engine from the destructive consequences of too much heat. Infiniti radiators can be damaged by debris of road, dirt, salt and excess water. These issues may lead to corrosion and leaks in the radiator. Such problems considerably reduce cooling performance and increase the risk of overheating, blowing the head gasket and initiating an engine fire in extreme cases. So it is desirable to have a strict vigil on the Infiniti radiators and replace it at the first instance of trouble.

In order to keep the Infinity radiator fully functional some preventive cooling system maintenance check is recommended at least once in a year. The check should involve a pressure test to identify external leaks with a radiator pressure cap test to ensure suggested system pressure level. The thermostat should be checked to ensure proper closing and opening. A system power flush may be required followed by refilling with the coolant suggested by Infiniti. This is helpful to clean the sludge sediment at the base of the radiator. Visual inspection of all cooling system mechanisms including belts and hoses and internal leak tests to check if combustion gas is leaking into the system are also part of the process. Pinholes in your Infiniti radiators indicate that it has been affected by internal corrosion and a replacement may be necessary. These are specialized jobs and should be done only by trained professionals.

A well-maintained Infiniti radiator is imperative for optimum performance and long life of your valued car. So regularly check and maintain preventive maintenance to ensure that your Infiniti is in good shape.
